Champions Determined in Team Competitions at the European Universities Table Tennis Championship

The 13th European Universities Table Tennis Championship, organized by the European University Sports Association (EUSA) and coordinated by the Turkish University Sports Federation (TUSF), is being hosted by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ).

The event, held between 11–16 September 2025, brings together 132 athletes from different European countries competing for the championship.

The finals of the team competitions took place on Sunday, 14 September. After highly competitive matches:

  • In the women’s category, Wroclaw University of Economics (Poland) claimed the championship, with the University of Nottingham (United Kingdom) finishing second. Paris Descartes University (France) and University of Warsaw (Poland) shared third place.
  • In the men’s category, Zamojski Academy (Poland) lifted the championship trophy. University of Leipzig (Germany) secured second place, while Istanbul Aydın University (Türkiye) and Pantheon-Sorbonne University (France) shared third place.

The awards to the top-ranking teams were presented by Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Tekşen, Dean of the Faculty of Sport Sciences Prof. Dr. Emrah Atay, Organizing Committee Representative Asst. Prof. Dr. Mert Nalbant, SCAC President György Kovacs, EUSA Technical Delegate Marcin Fidala, NUSA Representative Ahsen Küçükdurmaz, Organizing Committee Members Yakup Köse and Lecturer Emirhan Pehlivan.

The championship will conclude with the individual competitions on 15–16 September and the final matches on 16 September, followed by the official award ceremony.
